1. Wix Free Plans Have Limits and Ads

When you’re using the Free Wix Plans, you’ll notice that there are some limits to what you’re able to do with the free plan. While there are many benefits to getting started with a free plan, you may need to upgrade to a Premium Wix Plan.

Here are some of the limitations of the free plan:

• Wix in your URL (e.g. wixsite.com/yourDomain)
• Wix Ads on Your Website
• Limited Storage (up to 500mb)
• Limited Bandwidth (up to 500mb)
• No Payments Plugin for Ecommerce

While these limits may affect your website, especially if you have a lot of traffic coming to your website, you’ll still be able to set up a free website and test out the site builder before you commit to a monthly premium plan.

2. Published Themes Can’t Be Switched
